Sensors

This week in science I learned about sensors. I learned about many different sensors for feeling, seeing, and other ways to detect something or someone. If I made a robot for whatever I would want, it would be for the protection of my house, or for anyone else who wanted protection. First you would take front and side pictures of yourself and of people that you know who would come to your house. Then you would load them into the robot’s memory. The robot would be connected to several other robots built into the house and other parts of the property, but some of them can walk around too. If someone that you did not know or want on your property came, the robot would see them and set off an alarm. Obviously you would have this robot if you lived somewhere with no other houses.

Every robot has different sensors to be able to do different things. This particular robot would need seeing and detecting sensors. It would also have to have a siren, for the alarm.

I think that this robot could save many lives, but I would prefer to have a living thing in my house and on my property protecting me. For example, a dog that is well trained for this very purpose. Despite this, a robot like the one I have just made up in my head would be a great idea, and I think it would be fun to build it.
